Meeting, 20th October

Airmens,
To discut about the situation of EAF, a meeting will take place Saturday, October 20th. Why ? Because I think the EAF can be better and we must to make a point about this.

An organization can only be based on the principles adopted by all, and for now our rules and choices was only decided by me. "37 memebers" on the EAF group, but no one to fly (don't worry Lars Stoker X)), i know that it's the school time, but the EAF must to live, so if you cannot fly, just be present on our forum or this group, like me..

But don't be afraid, i'm not angry, i'm just surprised by this situation, the EAF could be better, i'm sure.

So, for details:
- Meet on skype/or facebook chat
- 15:00 UTC
- That will during 40-50 minutes
- All pilots can come and give its opinion (- nicolas4589)
- I except minimum 3-4 pilots, if there is only 1 pilot, i think the EAF can die now...

Hey Everwake, Since last time Easy-Go has kind of been flipped upside down. We're now a site emphasizing group flights, screenshots, and the VA. Turns out that group flights is the most popular for what its worth. We just need one thing to keep this going; members...

So if you want I think we'd be better off with a real alliance i.e. shared website with divisions, than remaining totally separate. Don't worry about this if everything goes well - my only intention is to keep both sites going...

Maybe even a mutual website under a different name...

Well, for now we're not really active...as i said a meeting will take place saturday to discut about this, the EAF must to be a superteam on FlightGear so us and our allies can be fly on good conditions.

If you're going to be inactive after the saturday meeting, the remaining pilots could have a section of Easy-Go. We're struggling with activity too so I think it would be mutually beneficial.

Plus Easy-Go has turned into a multipurpose site instead of strictly a VA. Right now organized flights and screenshots seem to be popular.

So, if this site goes inactive let me know and we can let the remander run military flights - probably best done with the organized flights section (many of the operations mix commercial and military anyway - check out the Blackbird and Concorde). That section is actually above the VA in priority at this point.

But I hope the meeting works and this site stays together - just stumbled upon your message and it didn't sound too good

How organized is the chat group? Is it all on Facebook or Skype? And does everyone know exactly where to go for the meeting?

If so I'll figure something out... like a temporary facebook (done it before) since I don't have one and also never used skype but I'm sure I could figure it out...

But for sure let me know how it goes. If its a complete bust and one pilot shows up I'd like to somehow work with Easy-Go - the pseudo-VA (that's its name now ...)

I couldn't make any meeting until right now... Tell me what happened and what's going on.

So, we're motivate and we have resume our activities and operations..we have also decided to keep our facebook group because a forum is not a good thing for us at this time (maybe when we'll have +60 members..). Anyways, it can be great if you can create a facebook account, just to talk with us and see what's news in the EAF ! Think to create a skype account too, because speak with a forum is not really good for me..

Good to hear that you will be able to keep going and grow If we can do escorts I'd like the blackbird (not at full height) just because I have better control than anything else. I don't know if you saw Dark and I formation flying on our site cover...

Also military formations would be good. And we're now only sort of a VA. We primarily organize flights and do some VA stuff - more flight organization. Thus the name pseudo VA

We can always help organize for you...

Well, now I prefer see us like a great community not like a VA..
Anyways, do you create your facebook/skype account?

Thats why if you look at our site organized flights are #1 with a VA attached. If you want an event we are having success with it... look at pics - Many of them are from group flights. We can make military events together...
